Weekend Warriors

Your weekend planned (if you want it to be)

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by too many choices? This week’s post is for anyone who would just like someone else to decide. Below I give you two options (just two) for each day of the weekend (plus Thursday, aka baby Friday).

Thursday, March 7:

  • The Nest Theatre has stand-up comedy. Show is 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $10.
  • Wild Goose Creative is hosting Speak Easy, an open mic story telling experience. This month’s theme is “That Escalated Quickly.” Show is 7 p.m., and admission is $5 at the door.

Friday, March 8

  • Natalie’s Grandview has the Angela Perley Trio at 5:15 p.m. (which is free but reservations are strongly encouraged), and The Price Sisters on Charlie’s Stage at 9 p.m., tickets are $20.
  • The Wexner Center for the Arts is screening Totem, by Lila Aviles at 7 p.m. Tickets are $9 with special pricing for members, seniors and students.

Saturday, March 9

Sunday, March 10

  • And All That Jazz, the Jazz Arts Group with Byron Stripling 3 p.m. at the Southern Theatre. Tickets range from $16.50 to $76.50.
  • Contemporary Theatre of Ohio opens Skeleton Crew this week. They have a Sunday performance at 2 p.m. Tickets are $48 (tap link for additional show dates).
