Do you ever feel overwhelmed by too many choices? This week’s post is for anyone who would just like someone else to decide. Below I give you two options (just two) for each day of the weekend (plus Thursday, aka baby Friday).
Thursday, March 7:
- The Nest Theatre has stand-up comedy. Show is 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $10.
- Wild Goose Creative is hosting Speak Easy, an open mic story telling experience. This month’s theme is “That Escalated Quickly.” Show is 7 p.m., and admission is $5 at the door.
Friday, March 8
- Natalie’s Grandview has the Angela Perley Trio at 5:15 p.m. (which is free but reservations are strongly encouraged), and The Price Sisters on Charlie’s Stage at 9 p.m., tickets are $20.
- The Wexner Center for the Arts is screening Totem, by Lila Aviles at 7 p.m. Tickets are $9 with special pricing for members, seniors and students.
Saturday, March 9
- Streetlight Guild presents Gentle Threat: Poets Scott Woods and Tomas Pacheco at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door.
- The Columbus Symphony presents Go Now! The Music of the Moody Blues at the Ohio Theatre. Show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets range from $25-$68 with special pricing for seniors.
Sunday, March 10
- And All That Jazz, the Jazz Arts Group with Byron Stripling 3 p.m. at the Southern Theatre. Tickets range from $16.50 to $76.50.
- Contemporary Theatre of Ohio opens Skeleton Crew this week. They have a Sunday performance at 2 p.m. Tickets are $48 (tap link for additional show dates).
